Understand extra Raiana Strati features
Raiana provides chat features that help regulatory affairs and quality professionals develop prompts, reuse regulatory templates, maintain company and product context, and collaborate on projects. This page serves as an addition to the Raiana Strati instructions, with new and in-depth features
Improve a prompt
Enter your question or instruction in the prompt box at the bottom of the chat. After entering the prompt, select Prompt Improver to ask Raiana to rewrite it in a more elaborate and useful form.

The Prompt Improver has two purposes: it helps you learn what makes a prompt effective, and it produces a better prompt that you can use to obtain more relevant results. Raiana also has an internal prompt-improvement process that continually seeks to improve prompts for better results, so the prompt you submit may be refined in addition to any explicit use of Prompt Improver. When improving a prompt, Raiana considers the selected regulatory context and, if the chat already contains messages, the context of that conversation. Review the resulting expanded prompt before using it; it is intended to give you a more detailed starting point for your regulatory question.

Use the Prompt Library
Open Prompt Library from the top-left area of Raiana. The library contains reusable prompt templates for questions that are frequently asked by regulatory professionals. Templates are organized by regulatory regime, allowing you to locate prompts associated with a particular framework. Select a regulatory regime or browse its prompts to view the available templates. For example, the FDA category displays prompts prepared for FDA-related work. Open a prompt to inspect its wording and identify the template fields that need to be completed.

In an opened template, select each template field and replace its placeholder text with information relevant to your device, product, or regulatory task. Complete the fields carefully so that the reusable prompt contains the scope and facts needed for the question you want Raiana to answer.

After completing the fields, either copy the finished prompt to your clipboard for use elsewhere or choose the option to go directly to a chat. The prompt is then available in the chat in a form that you can reuse without rebuilding the template manually.
Create your own prompts
Use the option to create a prompt from scratch, rather than selecting an existing regulatory template, when they don’t fit your needs.

Give the prompt a name and enter the instruction you want to preserve. For example, name it “test prompt” and enter an instruction such as: “I need the regulatory scope for my device [x], of which the intended purpose is [y].” Place the variables in brackets so they can be adjusted when the prompt is used. Save the prompt when its name and wording are complete. After saving, the prompt appears in your personal prompt area as well as in the appropriate library context. Open it later to use it in the same way as other library prompts, including copying it or sending it to a chat.

If you find an existing prompt that is useful but want to keep a separate version, open that prompt and select the option to save it as your own prompt. Raiana creates a copy in your personal prompt area, so you can preserve the original while maintaining a version for your own work. Edit the copied prompt whenever necessary. You can rename it and change its wording or other content to suit your organization’s needs. This provides a practical way to keep frequently used prompts and personal bookmarks ready for future regulatory work.

Manage context with My Raiana
My Raiana is a separate scratch pad for company information and product information that you want Raiana to use as context. Open My Raiana using the arrow next to its name in the bar, or the plus icon in the prompt box. A separate instructions-for-use page is available for this feature, but the context can also be accessed while working in chat. See the linked page for instructions on how to add companies and products to My Raiana.

With the plus control in the sidebar, choose the right company and product to add to your chat. Once the relevant entries with the plus control have been selected, the company and product appear in the context used for your work. This context is added to every chat you make, so you do not need to repeat the same company or product details in each prompt.
Share a project with coworkers
Open the project you want to share, such as the Photon Tomo CT project. The project page groups the chats, files, and project instructions for the CT scanner in one place. It also contains the project team area, where you can manage the people who should work within the project.

In the project team area, select the pencil icon to edit the project team. Raiana displays the available email addresses, allowing you to select coworkers by name. Add each person who should have access. To notify team members, use the project link option and send the link to them by email. The link is the same project link shown in the browser title bar, which identifies the project and its associated number.

Sharing a project allows coworkers to work from the same baseline. Each person can have personal chats, while everyone works with the same project context, files, and instructions. You can also see what other people have asked and what results they received, helping the team coordinate its regulatory and quality work.
