Use the Prompt Library

The Raiana Prompt Library is a useful tool for general, common questions with a predictable structure. It provides ready-to-use prompts, to ask the Raiana Chat a useful question and to train your prompting ability.

Open the Prompt Library

In Raiana Chat, select the appropriate Agent for your regulatory task, such as FDA, MDR, IVDR, or AI-ACT. The Prompt button is located below the Agent selector. Select Prompt to open the Prompt Library, which contains predefined prompts for common regulatory and compliance activities.

Select a predefined prompt

Review the predefined prompts displayed in the Prompt Library and choose the one that matches the task you want to perform. For example, while working in the FDA Chat, you can select a prompt for assessing a 510(k). Selecting a prompt opens its reusable template so that you can provide the information required for your specific case instead of writing a long prompt from the beginning.

Complete the prompt template

After selecting a predefined prompt, review the template and identify the fields or placeholder values that need to be completed. Click in the template and enter the relevant information for your assessment. When you type a value, such as a number, Raiana automatically replaces the corresponding placeholder with the value you entered, allowing you to customize the predefined prompt without rewriting its structure.

Insert the completed prompt into Chat

When you have finished completing the template, select OK. Raiana closes the prompt selection step and places the completed prompt into the Raiana text box, where it is ready for you to use in Chat. Confirm that the inserted text contains the intended information before continuing with your regulatory question or assessment.

Handle an existing prompt

If the Raiana text box already contains a prompt when you open the Prompt Library and select OK, Raiana warns you that a prompt is already present. The warning asks whether you want to overwrite your current prompt. Review the existing text before proceeding, because choosing to continue replaces it with the prompt selected from the library.

Select Yes in the warning if you want to replace the current prompt with the Prompt Library selection. The selected prompt is then inserted into the text box. If you do not want to replace the existing prompt, do not confirm the overwrite; open the Prompt Library in a new chat instead.

Use the library for recurring work

Use the Prompt Library when you regularly perform tasks that require detailed instructions or inputs. It saves you from typing a long prompt each time and provides examples of effective prompt structures.
